Bath could be renovated. The bed was almost falling apart.

Good location and lovely view over the harbour

The view was lovely and the staff were pleasant and helpful.

The room was quite small and when the shutters were open it was difficult to access the bed from the window side. Also there are steep steps leading up to the hotel entrance and it was hard carrying our luggage up them.

Enjoyed the location but not the careless attitude of staff and the sense that everything was run down and it felt like

Amazing location with a wonderful view across Palau and the sea and the Islas di Maddelenas. The room was comfortable enough.

This was a sad, disappointing and faded hotel, that once would have been luxurious and beautifully appointed. There is no longer a car park, so you park on the street outside and carry your cases up the steep steps and then up a wooden internal spiral staircase to the second floor. No lifts. Breakfast was average and staff seemed surly and uninterested in service or help. Room was ok but spartan - air conditioning worked, bed was comfortable and shower worked. Bathroom small with no shelving or place to put toiletries. The curtain rail was broken so hard to pull curtains and no blind on bathroom window which gave out into some apartments, so people entering could see you taking a shower. Tried to partly cover the window with a towel. No point complaining as there was really no-one to complain to. It was overpriced for what we received and had expected much more.

The person I met at the check-in was not the most helpful. It was heavy rain and they did not offer an umbrella in order to get the luggages from the car. The private parking mentioned it’s very small and in the evening might be hard to find parking on the street at the location. That also makes it hard to actually get your luggages in.

Beautiful accomodation with amazing views. Walking distance to town.

Our room was cosy and comfortable with a good size balcony/outside area to enjoy the view of the water and Palau. 5-7mins walk to the closest beach and 7-10 min walk into beautiful Palau. Parking outside the hotel was not a problem.

Overall, it is a good option but unfortunately overpriced for what it is

I was upgraded to a better room with a very nice view, so this might also positively affect my evaluation :))) We surely liked a very nice view from the balcony which overlook the town, the sea, and nearby islands :) The room was good, beds were comfortable, spacious enough (note we travel with two rather small bags, those that have big ones might not find it spacious enough). The bathroom was modern, well functioning, with all needed facilities. The reception staff was kind and helpful. Free parking was available. It is only a short walk to the center and the port, so location is also good ( a bit of uphill though).

There is no fridge in the bedroom, which would be really needed given the heat outside during summer (in all other hotels during this trip we were also kindly provided some free cold water, this hotel was the only exception), and also there is no trash bin (only in the bathroom), which is not the best. Cleaning of the room is not optimal - bed cover was dirty (and dirty part was even covered with our towels), the ashtray in the balcony was not cleaned (we are non-smokers so it was quite disturbing and smelly), we found dust and hair in some corners, etc.

Great location

The entrance of the hotel is nice and super luxurious, and the view of the balcony was amazing! Location was perfect, it was a 5-10 min walk to the city centre where all the restaurants were located. Also a great stay when you want to take the boat to La Maddalena the next morning.

The bed was quite hard and uncomfortable. Rooms were quite small as well, while the balcony is huge!

Stay in Palau

Hotel was nice, check-in was quick and the room was good. Air-conditioning was good and view from Hotel was fantastic. Very close to the beach.

Breakfast was €15 extra per person.

Well priced hotel with plenty of parking. Good breakfast and Excellent staff.

The view from the room was beautiful. Overlooking Palau harbour and beach below. The room was adequate even though it was on the smaller side. The bed and linens were very good and the bathroom was large for the size of the room. The room and decor are very basic and of the style you may expect in the Greek Islands eg. white wash walls and blue trim. Breakfast was a good continental style breakfast. Plenty to choose from and start the day with. This hotel is well priced for the standard. The staff were excellent.

There is no cafe or restaurant at the hotel. Although you can get a beer or coffee. The WiFi was not good.

Good room for the cost. Very basic room but clean and tidy.

Location was good. Welcome was warm and easy.

Room was a little stark. Parking was an issue; arrived later in the evening and could not park the car.

Pleasant stay. Quite a basic hotel for the price and what we’d originally thought.

Great location to the centre of Palau. Easy to find parking. Room with bright and had a good view.

The room was quite small with nowhere in particular to store luggage. The air conditioning although powerful was quite loud. The staff we came across were almost indifferent to us and weren’t very welcoming on arrival.

The location is very fine. Lovely view from the veranda. Helpful personnel and nice breakfast.

The rooms are absolutely tiny. We had a large veranda but there was nothing to make it comfortable, no lounge chairs or anything. Just two very uncomfortable chairs. This is a shame because there is a lot of potential. Also, the price is way too high for what you get. The room was too small for it to be comfortable.
